A report appears on policelink.com concerning a twenty year old man that was arrested for having sexual intercourse with a 4 year old female Rottweiler dog.
Further, that this same man was arrested several months prior for the same offense with another dog for which he was fined several hundred dollars. The burglary charged stems from his entering the garage area.
I'm sure the statutes for this offense will vary depending on the state. I'm confident the therapists will have a field day with this one.
Since the dog was only 4yrs. old, would this guy be classified as a "petophile"? Are these types of offenders listed as a "registered sex offender"? Is there a different format for a PCSOT examination? Or am I "barking" up the wrong tree? Has anyone out there conducted exams of people that repeat these offenses?

BrunswickT,Burglary is the only charge one that will stick. Because it's not "beast"iality if the act is with a domesticated animal..... LOL

Is his name Skippy....oh yeah thats the one with the peanut butter. I remember hearing years ago that 80% of sex offenders participate in bestiality. I think it is actually higher from the info I/we get in PCSOT polygraphs.Okay, reminds me of an inapproriate joke. Two boys are walking down the street and see a dog licking his privates. (1) No, he is not a petaphile, because technically the dog is 28 years old.(2) If this is Pre-Employment in Indiana, the officer is hired at a Sgts. step ---right away. Stat, you out there? IP: Logged |

I've had several of these. It's a misdemeanor. The most common being sex with a shaved beaver----which of course is still illegal according to dated Indiana statutes.
